St. Vincent de Paul Mission Hospital is a Catholic, faith-based facility located in Muhoroni, Kisumu County, Kenya. Owned by the Catholic Diocese of Kisumu and managed by the Franciscan Missionaries of St. Joseph (Mill Hill Sisters), the facility opened its doors in 2002 as a health centre and was upgraded to hospital status in 2006.
Over more than two decades, the hospital has committed itself to serving the community with dedication and professionalism — delivering affordable, quality and compassionate care to patients from all walks of life, regardless of background or belief.
The inhabitants of Muhoroni and its surroundings are enabled to live in good health, and when in need of medical care, they can access quality medical care at an affordable cost.
To provide wholesome health-care education and intervene to prevent diseases, to treat those in need of curative services, and those living with HIV. To provide palliative care for the dying in need.
Spiritual care is provided by the hospital chaplain and Catholic Sisters. Patients and staff have access to Eucharistic celebration and prayers. The chapel fosters spiritual healing and moral support for all patients, regardless of religious affiliation.
